CONSULTATION FEES-Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Buck Law Group, P.A. (“Buck Law”) provides a variety of consultation services on a fixed fee basis. The amount of the consultation fee depends upon the type of consultation. Payment for your consultation is required by credit card in advance of your scheduled appointment date and time.
Buck Law understands that situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment. We therefore kindly request that if you do cancel your consultation appointment, you do so as soon as practical, and at the least, with a twenty-four-hour notice. This will also enable another person who is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled in that appointment slot.
CANCELLATION FEES AND REFUNDS
The consultation fee is 100% refundable if you cancel your appointment either by calling (352.686.7331) or emailing (email@example.com) Buck Law more than twenty-four hours prior to your appointment time. You may cancel for any reason. Upon request, your credit card will be credited the amount of the consultation fee that you paid to schedule the consultation.
If you choose to cancel your appointment less than twenty-four hours of your appointment time, you will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to 50% of your consultation fee.
For example, if you pay $175.00 to schedule an advanced estate planning consultation, and you cancel your appointment less than twenty-four hours of the appointment time, you will be assessed a cancellation fee of $87.50. Afterward, your credit card will be credited in the amount of $87.50.
Also, if you fail to appear for your consultation appointment and provide no notice whatsoever to Buck Law, this will be considered a “No-Show”, and you will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to 100% of your consultation fee.
Buck Law understands that there may be special and unavoidable circumstances that cause you to cancel your consultation appointment with less than a twenty-four-hour notice. In these special circumstances, Buck Law reserves the right to waive your cancellation fee.
Buck Law reserves the right to cancel or modify consultation reservations where it appears that a client has engaged in a fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the consultation reservations contain, or resulted from a mistake or error.

Masks and Temperature Screening Policy
Our firm's utmost concern is the safety of our employees and our clients. As such, Attorney Buck has decided to maintain safety protocols and require our client's to wear masks covering their nose and mouth when entering the building. In addition, each client must submit to a contactless temperature reading. Any client that has a temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit or more will not be granted access to our firm. If you are physically exerted and would like to rest outside of the building and have us retake your temperature after 10 minutes or so of rest, then we would be happy to do so. If there is a couple and one of the people has a temperature and the other doesn't, then the couple will not be granted access to the building and will need to complete their business according to our "curbside signing procedures" below. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Our staff will be sanitizing regularly used surfaces after every client. This includes the lobby, front door handles, conference room table and chairs and our restroom. In addition, we have added air purifiers in all common areas.
Curbside Signing Procedures
The firm offers clients the option of signing their estate planning documents with safety and convenience by staying in their vehicles during the signing. Clients can stay in their vehicles and our staff will come out to the parking lot to see you and conduct a signing. With the use of gloves, masks, distance, and reducing the number of surfaces that are touched by everyone, we can handle documents securely and drastically reduce the potential risk of spreading COVID-19. This service will be at the Spring Hill office and offered only on a case-by-case basis, free of charge to the client.
While this is great news and we can continue to function, we do ask that current clients refrain from coming into our Spring Hill office just to drop off or pick up documents, this is for your safety and ours.
When you arrive to sign your documents, please call and let us know you are outside and someone will be with you right away.
